Dr Krista Plett

Leader of Plant Pathology Research | NSW DPI

Dr. Krista Plett is the Leader of Plant Pathology Research at the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries. She has worked in the area of plant-fungal interactions for about 13 years. Her research uses molecular biology tools and -omics data to study how fungi communicate and interact with their plant hosts, and how this in turn impacts plant health and nutrition. Krista is currently applying these skills to a DairyUp project to investigate potential causes of Kikuyu toxicity in pasture systems.
